Mirror's Edge 2 Has Been Listed For Pre-Order, Now Removed (Screenshot Enclosed)

iGR: "The last we saw of Mirror's Edge 2 was at E3 2013. A short teaser video was shown, and it was enough to satiate those that had kept the Faith all this time. As of today, Mirror's Edge 2 is available for pre-order "

This game is probably coming out in 2015 or 2016. DICE has a large team, but I'm sure Battlefront 3 takes priority over ME2.

If EA is serious about BF3 in 2015, then I don't see 2 full releases from DICE in one year when they have so many other studios that can fill the yearly rotation. 2016 is my bet.

I sure hope not, Mirror's Edge was a blast to play even with it being frustrating at times. I would hope for a release sometime in 2015 at the latest.

Lol, BF3 in 2011 and BF3 in 2015 :P
(Iknow they're both diffrent games)

kneon1514d ago

I pre-ordered it the week of E3, but it's always just shown the default date of Dec 31, 2013, which was later updated to Dec 31, 2014.

DICE is not making Battlefront 3. It's a different team, DICE LA, who made Medal of Honor Warfighter

iNcRiMiNaTi1514d ago (Edited 1514d ago )

If that's true then I feel bad for Battlefront fans because Warfighter was garbage. Danger close abandoned that game quick and there was barely any support for it

False (Dwight voice), it's being developed by Dice Stockholm.

Well they do have 2 studios now... I say Sweden on BF3 and LA on ME2

The first was good, def excited they're making another one

Crossbones1514d ago

I think they will reveal it at GDC 2014 along with BATTLEFIELD 2143 and both games will launch this Fall because their is no way EA is going to miss the opportunity to launch Battlefront next to Star Wars Episode 7 in 2015.

it´s still available for pre-order

If any of you have experienced the launch of DICE's Battlefield 4, you wouldn't be so eager to put your hard earned down on a pre-order for any future DICE product.

Go take a look at the current state of Battlefield 4, even 3 months since it's release before you get all pumped up for Mirror's Edge 2.

It could be the greatest game ever made, but you'd be a fool to part with your hard earned before you get confirmation of that going on DICE's recent track record.

Just saying.
