The Metal Gear Online Beta has now closed it gates. If you try and log on you get this short but rather informative message:

The "METAL GEAR ONLINE PREMIERE ß" test is now finished. We would like to thank players who took part and hope to see you on 12/06/2008 when full service starts with the release of "METAL GEAR SOLID 4 GUNS OF THE PATRIOTS".
