Five Reasons the Recently Announced Sly Cooper Film Might Not Suck

There are few who need reminding that the history of video game to film adaptations is monstrously horrid at best. While Blockade’s current work on video game adaptations of Heavenly Sword and Ratchet and Clank, along with the assurances of the filmmakers that the series' creators will be heavily involved in the entire process, will be of little comfort to anyone familiar with how these projects usually play out, there are other reasons to temporarily lift your valid cynicism regarding this announcement, and allow a little hope to creep through.
