After Final Fantasy Tactics and Vagrant Story Director Yasumi Matsuno the tactical RPG Unsung Story: Tale of the Guardians grabbed more talent from the Final Fantasy chest. Developer Playdek just announced that Akihiko Yoshida joined the team.
Fingers crossed that it gets enough funds on KS to receive a release on VITA/PS4.
Agreed. I loved the art for FFT!
I can't believe they are almost halfway through the Kickstarter and the main funding is not yet met! Stupid idiots spreading untruths about the project early on hopefully didn't ruin us getting another full FFT-style experience. They need to get $1M for Hitoshi Sakimoto & Vita release. Let's go!
LOVE Akihiko Yoshida :) FFXII my favs of all time. I might join the kickstarter now to encourage them!!
Wow, I'm backing this right now, Yoshida's style is superb!
this will sadly be overlooked. some of the best creative minds in the industry are attached to this. why is nobody noticing? why is it way below the goal with only teo weeks left?
Matsuno is not actively working on the game. It's his idea and Playdek is executing it. And just now, I bet Matsuno convinced Yoshida to work full time on this game for Playdek to give it a Kickstarter boost. The board of directors do not have me convinced. They should have had something more tangible than ideas before going to Kickstarter. Instead, their promotional video is full of emotional stir. Lastly, the card game issue was their own fault. They should have kept those two spin-off card games off the kickstarter.
I would give that $1M if i was rich ;P And i would like this game on my PS4 too! Where do you see how much they got untill now?
