Walking Dead Fans Grows Impatient, Starts Petition

Fans of Telltale’s critically acclaimed game The Walking Dead are getting impatient, now some of them have started a petition at change.org. (Android, iPhone, PC, PS3, Telltale Games, The Walking Dead: Episode 1 "A New Day", Xbox 360)

The only people who should really be petitioning are Android users :)

Edit: Below, fair enough.

I disagree as I explain below. People who bought Wolf Among Us have been waiting about 3 months now for episode 2. I hate this practice that we are basically funding for the development in a sense (those how bought the season pass)or at least buying a full package with broken release promises.

And then they come out and release another Walking Dead Season, not hating on it either cause I own the pass for that, but it's insulting for those who waited for ep 2 of Wolf.

I don't see this getting nay better either with Borderlands and Game of Thrones. I feel liek they are juggling more than they can handle.

@Nitrowolf2

I was initially excited to hear the Game of Thrones announcement, than confused about Borderlands and now discouraged their other productions are stalling.

They bit more than they can chew, is the phrase one would use. While I am the guy who waits for the full release of the episodes, at this pace it will be a long time from today.

I think everyone knew (or should have known) that TWD was going to be receiving another season before TWAU was even released.

Yea I'm actually getting tired of this, and TBH I feel like they took a dump on us who bought the Wolf Among Us by releasing another project.

Honestly, I don't understand, why aren't these already completed? I hate the idea that I forked up money to basically fund the development of each episode. I honestly thought it would be different this time around, but seeing that Wolf Among Us ep 2 hasn't even released and the original one released back in OCTOBER!! I like Telltale, but I think next time i'm just gonna wait for all the episodes to be out before buying.

I have to agree. It's precisely why I have held off the WAU entirely, for now.

I don't like the trend that can be set by having episodes be funded by the prior episodes.
Could you imagine if the quality of all game-endings were determined by the pre-orders revenue?

The concept works great, provided episodes sell very well. But seeing as so many people see through it now, the series could end up running out of steam, and finishing on a low note - due to too many people waiting to see.

Oh look, more entitlement from gamers... Shocking. /s

If you dont like the model, dont buy the games, simple as that. Its really annoying that gamers think that their HOBBY is some sort of innate human right.

This is exactly why I decided to just wait. I had the season pass for the first season, it sucked waiting months for the next part.

If you release in episodes, the least you can do is release them monthly....

The title of this article is a little misleading. The petition only asks for status updates on the project. Maybe weekly is a little too often, but open lines of communication are suddenly being viewed as impatient? OK.

Edit: the article itself is a little misleading too.
