Kojima shared some direct captures of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes on PlayStation 4. You can see different shots of the title screen as well as the PlayStation exclusive Deja Vu mission.
So were these timed exclusives or exclusives forever?
They didn't specify, but I think they are exclusives forever (assuming you're talking about the Deja / Jamais Vu missions).
i think i'll only play with the new Snake cause the old one doesn't fit imo with all other realistic character models. I really hope this game won't disappoint i'm getting it on PS4 day one.
I don't think you'll be able to run around in the main game with MGS1 Snake anyway.
@abzdine By "new Snake" do you mean Big Boss, who is a different person from the DLC Solid Snake?
@Patrick_pk44: by new snake i meant new generation model snake.
I really dont care. I wasnt impressed with the gameplay, sound effects, and animation. Graphics look great, but Snake wasn't fluent in his motions and the fact he can see through walls without a device is stupid. The guns and tranquilizer sound like shit. Still using old sound effects
I wish PS4 could get Raiden Jamais vu mission... That would seriously suck if not.
Man frankly I think this is a waste of resources. They should've created more content and missions for mgs5 instead of this. We already got a deja but mission in mgs4.
You mean the emulated part that takes like one minute and a half tops to clear? The Déjà Vu Mission won't be an emulated MGS1 segment and I'm pretty sure it'll take longer than a minute to clear. I'm not a huge fan of it either but we'll see.
@One_Eyed_Wizard He was on about the remade parts of MGS1 on MGS4.
Yea but you never know, it's open world and Kojima-san said there will be plenty of things to keep up replaying. All they need to do is add some form of MGO to it and it will definitely hold us till Phantom Pains.
@ moujahed i sure hope we get a mgo with mgs5. can't stress how much fun i had with the previous mgo.
Yeah I don't get it, should have been grey fox instead of pixel snake. Jamais Vu >>>> Deja Vu.
Yup. This is lame...
Can't wait to play this game!
Big boss here I come...
kojima know best
What is this Deja Vu mission? Do we get to replay a part of MGS1 or something along those lines?
Kojima Studios haven't been clear about this. Is it a recreation of all of MGS1 (unlikely) or just some of the key moments, or a new level set in the MGS1 era. I'd like to know but no clarity so far makes me wonder if it has been fully planned or not.
Nah dude I think its just a Solid Snake skin for nostalgia purposes. We already saw shadow Moses on MGS 4 anyways
Waste of time.
I'm still playing Metal Gear Rising. Love that game, can't wait for MGS 5.
totally forgot about that game, I think its time for me to download and play the game. PS+ FTW!!!
You'll love it. It's really good and the battles are amazing.
They should have done a remodel of young snake for Deja Vu DLC. XB1 gets a nice model of Raiden. Not fair to the PS fans that been supporting MGS since PS1. It's not really a big deal though because I just want to play the main game.
Totally agree on this point. How hard would it have been to create a new model.
*clicks link then looks at comment section o-0!Daym* MGS!!!!
Hahhaaa, I know right?
I don't get why Raiden was exclusive to Xbone. That looked quite cool tbh. The Sony exclusive just looked boring. Nostalgic but boring. Hopefully they would have young snake aswell, would get boring staring at a blocky snake.
Is this on the Digital version? Really want it, but heard something about it missing extra content.
Just buy the physical copy
Dem boobs tho.
Newegg has Metal Gear PS4 and Xbox One preorder today for $35 or so.
I WANT ZONE OF THE ENDERS!!!!
this game will sale ps4's like hot cakes. i dont care if its on both consoles, we all know these xbots are hardly going to play it. they only want shooters.
I will get this game for my PS4 Day one
Wonder why they didn't show XB1 shots? Got to show the game in its best light I guess.
