I never had to rely on sniping. Were you playing the same game? The sniper rifle type gun was one of the last ones I got around to leveling up.

Out of curiousity, what was your set-up for the game in terms of which weapons you used?

I just selected either the ones that were the most fun, or the ones that I still needed to level up. I didn't really stick to any particular ones.

Early on in the game, the grenade type weapon is pretty powerful, as is the shotgun.

I used the saw blades weapon quite a lot for long range before I got the rockets, for example.

Later on, you can mix and match more. Like, call out Mr Zukon and Co, then throw one of those black hole things out there, then equip something for shorter range mayhem, like the freeze ray or something.

I played the Japanese version and can't remember the names of the weapons..

Thanks for the recommendations! :) I'll definitely try out a few of those weapons.
