Tomb Raider Definitive Edition Review - Cash Grab or Money Well Spent? | COG

Lara Croft is back for a next-gen refresh of last year’s hugely successful Tomb Raider with the Definitive Edition. Do the upgraded graphics and extra content bring much to the table or is this just a $60 cash grab?

I just bought this for PC as a gift to a friend at a massive $4 on amazon. This being $60 seems insane to me.

You can get it on Steam for less than £10. It was on sale, I think, over the summer for something like £3.99.

£50 on PS4?

Basically you're paying £40, ish, for a graphics upgrade?

Yeah, it's a cash-in.

Then again if you've never played it, go for it, as it's a pretty darn good game really. Just ridiculously priced.

I don't see the point of reviewing it again. It's the same game, just prettier than the other versions.
