Developer Sucker Punch has confirmed that the anticipated inFamous sequel won't have a multiplayer mode of any kind. But so what? Do we really care?
Some people will but I'm ecstatic about this. All that development time went into singleplayer. I've got even more faith in Sucker Punch now. It's going to be a great game.
Agreed. With a ton of developers tacking on single player to their multiplayer games, its refreshing to see someone bucking trends and making a single player only title. I only play single player games, so this is music to my ears.
The only thing I hope for but think it's probably not going to be there, is the ability to investigate that forest we see in the opening cinematic.
I much prefer single player games , i dont really like when they tack on MP just because thats the thing now days, this is good news to me.
I'm happy it doesn't. Not every games needs it. Its better in many cases just to put the entire Dev budget into sp
Never expected it to have mp and id rather they go all out on the single player. Not every game needs a mp.
If done well, it could be one of the best out there! A bunch of conduits running around the city. It would be amazing!!! I'm kind of sad it won't happen.
as long as the storyline is long and good and not only 5-6 hours of play and im fine to pay 60 bucks...
I love co-op and online play...but can live without it. I'm sure the gane will be amazing without it.
None of the infamous had multiplayer, so it doesn't make a difference! I'm glad this game is 100% focused on a string single player narrative!
Second Son Won't Have MultiMEH! and me! i dont care!
I don't care. I know it's fun and all of that, but lately they put the multi to save the poor and short single player part. I hate that. I prefer balanced things or a very well done single player experience. I'd leave the multi for FPS, racing/sport games or MMORPG/MMO. And about the other games, i like thinking about the multi as an add-on, something extra. If it's there ok, otherwise no problem.
