Why would you include a picture of The Last Of Us with the heading 'Games that are not cut our for the solver screen' and then go on to say in the article that whilst Halo isn't cut out for the silver screen, The Last Of Us is? If you're going to argue that Halo isn't cut out for the silver screen then it makes sense to use a picture from that game.

I dislike articles that use tactics like this just to get hits.

RyanNehse1697d ago (Edited 1697d ago )

It actually wasn't a tactic but whatever dude. It's about the article and the authors opinion. If you had been more polite about this, I would be more inclined to change the picture just for you and take it as constructive criticsm. I'm sorry that you dislike the entire opinion based on one little image

Come on now!

You say this, title the article "Some games just aren't cut out for the silver screen" and then flat out say in the article "Of course, many games make for great movies. Being only partway through The Last Of Us, I could see it (so far) being made into a movie." So basically you're going to show a game you think is cut out for the silver screen, put it as a picture of a title that suggests otherwise and then get on your high horse because you got called on it?

Also, if you ask me, I thought GribbleGruger was polite (or at least more so than you).

If it's not a tactic, and you didn't write the article, then the implication is that it's your opinion that The Last of Us ISN'T cut out for the silver screen.

So either you lied, or you lied. Which is it?

Ad and Dragon are right.

This is pure flamebait, plain and simple. I don't know why you have a problem with that since you did it on purpose. Own up to it and next time think through how you post.

Flaming article is flaming. Last of Us (as the article states but not the headline) would be amazing on the Silver Screen.

It's always funny to me whenever someone says anything remotely negative about TLOU. This article didn't and you're still getting heat for it. TLOU takes your average zombie story and slaps some good voice acting on it and just because Naughty Dog made it that must make it Legendary right. A lot of Uncharted fans are quick to jump at the defense of that game even if what someone said about it wasn't negative. Don't worry about these guys. They don't have anything better to do then hate on a guy posting his honest opinion.

Why do people want movies of videogames? Have people seen movies these days? They are terrible. Stay a video game because why lower yourself to a movies level? :/

Yodagamer1696d ago

As much as people some people want game movies, i think their unneeded as most video game movies have their movie counter parts. Uncharted has Indiana Jones, Last of Us has world war z (although that movie wasn't as good), Need for speed has fast and the furious and any shooter has it's various action movies.

DJustinUNCHAIND1696d ago

The Last of Us would be a terrible movie because it's been made already.

28 Weeks Later
Children of Men
The Road

sprinterboy1696d ago

Those 3 films you mentioned are great films

DJustinUNCHAIND1696d ago

Yes, they are great films.

The Last of Us wouldn't be doing anything new.

thorstein1696d ago (Edited 1696d ago )

28 Days Later is a great film. 28 Weeks Later...not so much.

Children of Men isn't really about an infection that makes people into zombies, but it is one of my favorite movies of all time.
