Japan-based game studio Meisekimu has revealed some of the first details of Inner Sanctum, its upcoming open world PlayStation 4 game, exclusively to GamingBolt.
So GTA 5 Japan?
It will definitely draw comparisons. Seems heavily influenced. Three playable chars, open world, humorous social commentary. This game has big shoes to fill
that is Shibuya, very detailed.
The last Yakuza had four playable characters.
@Nix Very true! I totally forgot about yakuza 4
No, more like a glimpse into Shenmu 3
Open World Japan ? sounds interesting.
I would love to play a game set in Japan. That would be amazing, a great backdrop for some dumb fun!!
So confirm for the west?
We will be knowing that soon. Hopefully it will hit West. On a side note the game will be taking full advantage of the PS4 capabilities which is a good thing.
Also on IOS and Android apparently. just glad we get more RPGs
Those versions will obviously be drastically different than the PS4 one.
Of course, noone is saying there won't be. but either way you must admit its odd.
I thought it was alright.
Ooooh this sounds interesting
one more game without xbone version.
Well, honestly speaking, it's not like it would sell on XB1.
The link to this site trys to install an apk on my android phone using chrome, be careful everyone.
Don't know why someone disagreed, I am unable to read the article as the pop up is blocking the page and it won't go away unless I go back a page or click ok. Can someone post the content of the article please!
I read it using the stock browser rather than chrome and that was OK.
Japan-based game studio Meisekimu has revealed some of the first details of Inner Sanctum, its upcoming open world PlayStation 4 game, exclusively to GamingBolt. The game will be set in Tokyo and Osaka, with three playable characters – Kenji, Brad and James. In a summary provided to GamingBolt, Brad is the typical Princeton graduate looking to make a quick buck and who gets involved with the Japanese mob and hedge fund trader Dylan Jefferson; Kenji is a finance student who forms his own gang and works to build a fortune after realizing the corruption of many companies; and James is an African American who teaches English and wants to build his own school. Together, these three will be embarking on an adventure of wealth and bloody madness. Meisekimu also revealed that Inner Sanctum will include various side missions with the ability to fly and sail, along with offering a “humorous” take on society and foreigners in Japan. Along with taking full advantage of the PS4′s hardware, Inner Sanctum will also see a release on iOS and Android. We’ll have more information on the game in the coming weeks, along with an extensive interview with the developers detailing the development aspects and gameplay mechanics. Until then, check out some concept art for the game’s visuals and environments.

Heck yeah. I was hoping the same.
So glad I'm on the sony side of gaming ;)

Read the 2 comments in the link... this isnt a real game and isn't being made by a real company
Oh, I suppose it is a real company then. Good find.
The translated page. http://www.meisekimu.com/in...
The Idea sounds good, but a couple of things stood out to me immediately. 1) To use the full power of the PS4, you need programmers that are on the same Calibre as the ones at Quantic Dream, Konami, Santa Monica Studios e.t.c. With the exception of Konami, basically first party studios have a better chance at utilizing the full power of the PS4. 2) The Corporate page asks for C++ programmers. If the full power of the PS4 was going to be utilized, there should at least be C++ programmers and system engineers already on board that have been running engine simulations. 3) Scalability: To use the full power of the PS4 and then port the same game to mobile devices will involve some serious development work. The difference in power is too great to even make it feasible (unless of course there are some serious engine programmers on board). That's like saying MGS5 is going to be on iOS and Android. And we all know Konami for example have some top grade programmers on the team . . . Yet even they won't try that out. It would be interesting to know what tools, middleware, engine e.t.c. would be used :-) It is a nice Idea, but those things just popped out immediately. ;-) ;-)
@shadow master That comment was meant for Vengeance1138 =)
It's a real company :\ http://www.meisekimu.com/
I didn't say it wasn't real, I was just looking at it from a development perspective.
I hope they can render masses of people crossing the crosswalk.
If you let GamingBolt have the exclusive on your game, you're gonna have a bad time...
