USG Tomb Raider Definitive Edition Review: Challenging The PC

"Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition is an excellent port for PS4 and Xbox One, with some great graphical improvements. You can tell Crystal Dynamics pulled out all of the stops to make this the best version of Tomb Raider. If you've played it before, it may be worth a rent. If you haven't, the Definitive Edition is great purchase that outclasses the PC edition. Unfortunately, the potential price gulf between this version and the PC version can make it a hard sell." - Mike Williams, USGamer

Which is why I'm playing it in ps4. Awesome game, great graphics, still feel like it should have been 49.99 at the most. However that's all I paid for it so...yeah.

More like beating the pc... But this is a new version of the game so that's more likely given that games are in most cases optimized for consoles and average pcs.

The only place it wins vs pc is the lighting and new physics. The PC version has a sharper look and better resolution but DE has an improved lighting system.

Had it been updated on the PC then this would have ended very different. Why people compare and say PC loses is ridiculous. DE was made to look better than the original so obviously it will.

To say the least, it's a pointless comparison until DE releases on PC. If it does. I have it on PC but may pick it up when I get a ps4 when infamous releases.

Nice to see Xbone didn't get another 720p port to try and hit 60 fps. At least it's 1080p.
