Yes the future of entertainment!

AnEwGuY1582d ago about coming full circle. Funny thing is, Neill's stock has gone WAAAY up, since he first did that live action Halo short at E3 for them, so it's gonna cost MS a pretty penny for his services now.

I believe he's the only one that could pull the show off.

AnEwGuY1582d ago

I don't know about that...there's a lot of great action directors out there. But Neill proved he had the chops years ago, when he was virtually a nobody ; MS should have gotten a deal done then.

Forward Unto Dawn was pretty fantastic, and that wasn't Blomkamp.

DeathOfTheFanBoy1582d ago

Yeh but still cheap in comparison to Spielberg!

My anticipation just skyrocketted! When they first announced the tv show he was the fist person to come to my mind when directing. If you havn't watched District 9 yet do yourself a favor and watch it on netflix, one of the best sci-fi movies i've ever seen hands down. Going to actually watch Elysium later today actually. Megaton imo.

Elysium - poor plot with loads of holes but the universe created (art style, culture etc) is great. The action is great too. I'd love a videogame set in the universe

Pogmathoin1582d ago

Well, was not expecting shakespeare quality in elysium, but the action, direction and detail was awesome. A good action movie, Blomkamp style....

FunAndGun1582d ago

Yeah, Elysium was kinda turdy.
