Yup blame the developer, nothing to do with the tools (hardware) they were provided /s.

i knew this topic was coming immediately i learnt that two separate developers worked on the porting the game on the next gen consoles

The developers may or may not be at least partially at fault, but the power difference is a definite reality.

You are right though, it's not all dependent on the developers, but it can definitely make a difference.

I find it interesting that for two consoles that are supposed to be so similar, they felt the need to have two different teams work on the port.

Maybe time limit had something to do with it.

Having one team work on two ports at the same time may not be such a good idea if time is short in which case two separate teams would make sense.

Are they really blaming this on the developers, I mean United Front games have a solid track record of Modnation racers and Sleeping dogs.
They have worked on the PS3, and dealt with the more complex Cell. Very much doubt the problem is on the developers side.

modnation was NOT a mess. It was good. Only big problem was long load times and they addressed that pretty quickly.

Sleeping Dogs had bad framerate issues on the 360.
