Dragon Quest Monsters: Super Light, the recently announced iOS and Android version of Dragon Quest Monsters 2, gets a new trailer showing off its gameplay and exploration.
Square Enix has reported financial results for its most recent six-month stretch, with the publisher showing increases in both sales and profits for the period.
Square's digital entertainment segment, which includes the firm's video game division, grew 37.5 per cent year-over-year thanks to the performances of PC and mobile titles including Final Fantasy Record Keeper, Dragon Quest Monsters Super Light, and Schoolgirl Strikers.
MMO properties Final Fantasy XIV and Dragon Quest were also highlighted for their “favorable performances.”
Dragon Quest Monsters: Super Light, Square Enix’s free-to-play smartphone Dragon Quest game, has surpassed over 15 million downloads in Japan, the company announced.
The mobile game first launched in January 2014 and surpassed three million downloads by the following month.
