Ryse: Son of Rome Review - Duuro Magazine

Duuro says" Ryse: Son of Rome wants to be something big and memorable in every category, but it fails when it comes to gameplay and story. It looks absolutely stunning, but it has an uninspiring and repetitive combat which is the only thing you will have to do for 5 hours. In the end this game is more a statement of the crazy graphics that the next generation Xbox can handle rather than an interesting overall experience, but that doesn’t mean that you should skip it!" (Ryse: Son of Rome, Xbox One) 7.5/10

I had a great time with Ryse. All hack and slack games fall into that repetitious rhythm over time but I enjoyed the amazing graphics and 100 or so executions at your disposal once earned. I think this is one game that got a lot of undeserved criticism. I'm not stating this in regards to your score which is fair btw =) Hoping a sequel comes our way down the road with improvements and more multiplayer options.
