Would really love to see them put some past UFC heroes in the mix...Tank Abbott, Mark Kerr, Mark Coleman, Frank Shamrock (yeh, fat chance of one of the very best in Frank ever making it in a UFC licensed product now), Royce Gracie, Kimo, Dan Severne, Ken Shamrock, & some of the real old UFC 1-10 past fighters that helped establish UFC.....
They should have a mode that emulates that ol' skool UFC feel, with fighters that are very 1 dimensional to a certain martial art style....Like Kickboxer vs Karate, Wrestler vs Boxer, & have TOTAL OPEM WEIGHT catagories, like the old days, when you'd see a 500pound sumo get knocked the f^ck out by a 200pound TaiKwonDo guy... Those were the days......Knockouts used to shock me back then, as they were so much more brutal & psycho, & loose with the rules (in fact the ONLY rule was no fishhooking) I seen a fight where the guy kicked & punched the other guy in the balls about 15-20 times, it was NOT illegal back then, guys stomping on downed opponents heads with there heels, & elbows to the bridge of a kneeling, defeated opponents base of the neck & skull area.... Definitely thought I would see a death with how relaxed & non-existent the rules were back then...But damn, it was more FUN to watch in many ways, as these were PART-TIME warriors, that trained in particular styles, & in MOST cases in martial arts, those styles did NOT have full on sparring (Some had none at all).....So the fighters were NOT only completely NON-FIGHT_FIT, they also had no conditioning or such in how to go with a punch of kick, to negate the power & possibly stop a knockout, not to mention, the lack of full face & body sparring meant there jaws & heads were not conditioned to take blows, & if just knocked into a slight daze, these guys would become boxing bags for opposition to beat, as they had no clue how to react under that kind of pressure, as well as if they were not versed in ground fighting, they didn't know where to go or what to do.... Arghh, the UFC old days, that was some eye opening shit....So bring OLD SKOOL mode into the game...that would be sick..
