'Titanfall' Pre-Orders on the Xbox 360 and Xbox One Include a $10 Xbox Gift Card

8CN: According to the game's official listing on the Microsoft Store, Titanfall pre-orders for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One will come with a $10 Xbox gift card digital code. This offer does not seem to apply to the PC version of the game though, nor is it being advertised by other retailers such as the official Titanfall website (which is taking pre-orders through Origin).

Probably sponsored by Microsoft to increase sales and make it more profitable for Respawn which would help in securing the Titanfall IP. Nice offer though.

Sounds like a smart plan to me, also take in to consideration all the flak this got from a certain group of gamers for no reason other than it not coming to a particular system. All in all I'm glad I waited to pre-order as I will save $10 when I buy watch dogs. Awesome year ahead for the XB1!!!!

Good for gamers. But it shows that Microsoft need this to be a success as it is the big showcase game for the Xbone. But does the card offer suggest that preorders are less than they were hoping for?

They usually offer a $10 giftcard to MS Store, or 1600 point card with games. I got 1600 point cards with Forza Horizon, Gears of War Judgement, GTA 5, and a few others. Amazing deal.

Microsoft Store offers a $10 dollar store gift card and Best Buy has an offer for $10 rewards card with certain games, Titanfall included. I'll be going the Best Buy route since I'm constantly buying movies there.

They are obviously desperate to sell as much as possible otherwise they will look like fools for stumping up a significant amount of cash for the exclusive rights.

Personally I don't like multiplayer only games but I'm sure there will be many who will enjoy it.

Most dev/pub want to sell as much as possible. I get giftcards for pre-orders a lot from best buy. BF4, Halo4, and a few others. BestBuy has done this on most big games.

LOL right, because without the $10 bonus, people weren't going to buy it. Game is going to sell amazingly well regardless of a $10 bonus. Many had it preordered before. I doubt people will be like "I wasn't going to buy it, but I will now! Spend $60 to get $10? What a deal!!!!!"
