Maxwell has finally been listed. An online retailer has listed the Maxwell GTX 750 Ti with 2GB worth of GDDR5 Memory for 50, 000 HUF ($225).
And now we sit and play the waiting game. Should be interesting.
damn, this is like 2 ps4 in one right? 2 x the ps3 ddr5, thats mad, pc gamers do get alot of good stuff
Wrong. I can barely make sense of your comment, but No it's not like two PS4's in one. At best it likely ranges between the GTX 660 and the GTX 760, so it'd be around 10% - 30% more powerful than the PS4. We're waiting for the GTX 800 series, later this year, and hopefully there will be a bigger performance jump than 30% more than the 780 Ti. Come on Maxwell don't let me down.
I'm thankful for the next gen systems, I'm a PC gamer first and foremost and my current SLI set up is getting a bit long on the tooth. My PS4 has surely made the wait for Maxwell cards much easier.
@Fishy What do you have in SLI that can't outdo the PS4? It's been time to upgrade if you can't do that.
GTX570s. So yeah, not that bad, but I dont mean specifically because the PS4's visuals, merely a load of new games/content to keep me interested.
@Fishy Something must be bottlenecking your system then, you should be getting performance around a GTX 770 with 570's in SLI. You should be getting around 50% - 70% more performance than the PS4 can offer. You should be running most PC games on High - Ultra settings.
damn, this is like 2 ps4 in one right? 2 x the ps4 ddr5, thats mad, pc gamers do get alot of good stuff
225$ for the Nvidia GTX 750 Ti is way to expensive. Should be priced somewhere between 149-169$.
Do you know about its performance? What if it performs on the same level as gtx660ti?
@dmitrijs88 I doubt it will perform that well. Either way I have my gtx 670 which should be good enough for the next 5 years.
670 won't be good for 5 years.
5 years? I'd be looking to add another 670 by now if that was me :) "according to these numbers is on average 10 to 15 percent slower than the GTX 660" http://www.techpowerup.com/... Rumoured.
how can u say the gtx 670 wont be good for the next 5 years? My gtx 260 is still running todays games at very high quality with full resolution.
My bad, didnt check that it performs below gtx660.
Gtx 670 will definitely be enough for another 5 years as long as I play at 1080p. We all know most games are becoming better optimized all I need is a solid processor and I'm set.
AMD 7770 goes for like $140 And this is much much better than that
If you're spending $140 on a 7770 then you're getting screwed. I've been seeing 7790 on sale for $119 down to $99 (w. Mail in rebates). I've even seen 7850's for $140. http://www.newegg.com/Produ... http://www.newegg.com/Produ... You guys better shop around first.
200$ for GTX 750 o.O That is a steal!
Seriously, damn I was mislead hahahaha. Thanks for saving me ^^
@TheParanoidSurvivor The Leaked Benches are almost certainly fake. If a kepler 750 Ti can beat 660 you cant seriously expect me to believe that a Maxwell 750 ti cant! http://wccftech.com/nvidia-...
@Farsendor1 Why are you posting the alleged specs. of the "ORIGINAL 750Ti based on Kepler" which was proved in the very same article you got that link from to in fact be 10% better than a GTX 660 as @codelyoko provided in his link. Maxwell should be at least 10% better than a GTX 660, and probably around 30% at most.
Its Up on ASUS Official Too :) Attach Images thingee not working hmm... Anyways here: http://imgur.com/dYvluTn
I just got a GTX 670 mini for $289 on NCIX. It should be good enough to slap the crap out of the 750ti.
And PS4 and XB1 in Crossfire ;-)
as long as you have a nice processor to go with it for sure. :)
@combatcash I have an i7 3770. No bottlenecks here. :)
Same here 670, about to order another if I can find one at a good price.
If benchmarks were legit than this thing does not sound very appealing at $225
Supposedly in US wuthout import fees or whatever they are in US it would be $175
Can't wait to see bigger cards on maxwell and 20nm.
It's bloody weaker then my GTX 660... Guess I'll be saving for a while to come yet...
lol for 180$ you can get r9 270 that is a beast of a card for his price even better than ps4 but not by much.. 225$ for 750ti? no thank you.
