Shadow of the Eternals Will Slowly But Surely Come to Fruition

Hardcore Gamer: Shadow of the Eternals seems to be stuck in an eternal development cycle. The spiritual follow up to the 2002 GameCube classic, Eternal Darkness, has long been teased, cancelled, teased, and cancelled again. Crowd funding once again came to the rescue of another almost dormant IP, or so it seemed.

It's probably related to a certain someone, which is connected to the project. Plus the platform it was intended for.

Nintendo might end up picking this up because if they don't do something with the Eternal Darkness license within 3 years they will lose the IP. If this game is looking good and ready to go Nintendo could end up funding this like they did with Bayonetta 2.

THis is great news. Ever since I saw the teaser trailer and kickstarter campaign I was incredibly excited. Lovecraftian Horror adventure game that is a spiritual successor to Eternal Darkness? yes please.
