Couldn't resist our trade - Poutine for Playstation Now.

PinkFunk1463d ago

Hehehe. Got that right!

GribbleGrunger1464d ago

I really hope that now the law for service providers has changed in their favour, they won't decide to put PSNow behind another pay-wall.

Eonjay1464d ago

There is plenty of time to fight them back. For now, Lets take in the goodness of PSNow :)

The USA has no jurisdiction on Canadian soil, so the US Court can get blue in the face if they want.... but wont affect me or us Canadians.

SilentNegotiator1463d ago (Edited 1463d ago )

The US isn't after Canada's laws; relax. Besides, the change is only due to a Federal Appeals Judge; this isn't going to last as it moves up the appeals system and gets protested in the form of site shutdowns (like Wiki did for SOPA) and increased hackings.

It will either be reversed by the time it reaches the supreme court or the "contradiction" in FCC law will be amended.

@PeaSFor

I find it hilarious that people disagreed with you, cause it's true, the U.S. can't do anything about Canadian service providers.....those of which most of us in Canada use...so this crazy law is not up here in the north.

ON TOPIC THOUGH!
I'm pretty excited for PSNOW, I'm happy that we're getting it at the same time as the US. :)

The law will go back into effect by the time it reaches the supreme court. Otherwise, the internet will demand it with protests (like with the SOPA stuff), hackings, etc.

Teksavvy FTW. I will play as much as I want. If your still on rogers or bell your a getting bent over.

When video game companies say something is releasing in the US, I find it usually means releasing in Canada as well. It's a rare occasion when this doesn't happen.

I signed up for the beta...picked a random zip code.

KrisButtar1463d ago

I applied for the PS Now beta even though I don't live in the States. IGN had a link a while back that linked to the beta sign up

lukemul691463d ago

I did the exact same thing :)

pompombrum1464d ago

I hope this isn't going to be a North American thing for months. The amount of awesome exclusive content they get on the PS3/Xbox 360 is enough to make everyone else envious already.

GirlOnFire1464d ago

I'm pretty happy with PS Now. They should of released it first on Vita to see what happens like more sales. I don't mind paying for it because I will own access over 6 devices for my games. Please cost a decent price! ^~^
