Grainger Games takes a look at Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Vita, and wonders whether it's a return to form for the series.
Budokai 3 was the pinnacle of the series.
Agreed! Budokai 3 is still just as fun to play now as when it first game out. Its one of the many reasons I still have my PS2 kicking around my living room.
100% agreed. That is why I bought the HD collection. Still the best one
Budokai TENKAICHI 3. ;)
No. The Tenkaichi series ruined Budokai 3.
Sadly Boz is still terrible, they DBZ games havent been good since Tenkaichi.
All I can say is that DragonBall Z: battle of Z reminds me so much of Legends so I may try it and see. I don't think a lot of people will like it and I may not like a lot of things but seems like it will be somewhat entertaining.
Dragon Ball Z games always re-tread the same old boring story. How many times are we going to relive the Freiza-Buu saga? They need to do something more and Legends isn't it.
I hate battle of z its a game that should be for mobile phones. Do they think because its four player co op people no longer want lengthy combos other than a five button mash or a three button mash with a friend resulting in a multiple character animation. Sharing energy is good but why cant you charge it on your own. And finally the story mode is ruined you no longer have goku taking on freiza on his own now piccolo, gohan and krillin join the fight (so they can show of their four player co op)
Without in-game transformations? Hell no.
Im sorry but no the controls are way too simplistic.
I tried to like it. Played the demo quite a bit, but I always found myself getting bored halfway through the match and hoping it would end soon.
