at US launch ill be adding to this number for the vita...FFX was the last great FF game.
my #1 favorite all time #2 persona4 golden #3 wild arms...
speaking of wild arms...where the FUUUUUUU are you? we needs a new wild arms!

Snookies121409d ago (Edited 1409d ago )

I'd love a new Wild Arms... It's been too long... :[

I agree though. FFX was the last masterpiece in the FF series. XII, XIII, and XIII-2 are good RPGs, but nothing like IV, VI, VII, VIII, IX, and X.

SynGamer1409d ago (Edited 1409d ago )

With the current sales for PS3 and PSV combined (in Japan), Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster has sold over 407,000 units. And I don't think that includes digital copies (if available).

According to VGChartz.com, in the USA, the PS3 version already has 143,000 pre-orders. No data on the PS Vita version, but even without those numbers, we're looking at roughly 550,000 units sold if pre-orders sell. That's some crazy-good numbers for an HD remaster

Surely, SE will see that and go forward with a FF XII HD remaster! (I hope!) I think I actually preferred FF XII over FF X...

Its sad to see everyone crowning 10 as king... clearly none of you played 4 and 6.

Snookies121409d ago (Edited 1409d ago )

@jeromeface - When did I say I liked X better than IV or VI? VI was my favorite, personally. I just said FFX was their last 'masterpiece'. As the others are I mentioned in my post.

I would love to see a secret of mana remake. One of my favorite game for the snes.

SynGamer1409d ago (Edited 1409d ago )

Just moved to Canada, hoping to get a job soon. I would really like to pre-order this just to add to the PS Vita numbers, though I think I have enough in EB Games credit to buy this anyway.

DCfan1409d ago

Not sure i'll buy it. I heard some of the music re-arrangements. They botched most of the songs in the game. Thats enough for me to stick with the original ver. on PS2.

Skate-AK1409d ago

Not me. Never got the chance to play FFX. This is perfect for someone like me.

SynGamer1409d ago

Some of the "re-arranged" songs sound different, but most of them still sound good (some even sound better). Considering it's been 10+ years since I played this, I'm jumping at the opportunity to play it in HD on the PS Vita.

Transporter471409d ago

I hope they do FFXII, its a great one.

Hicken1409d ago

Playing it again right now. Still has those things that bug me, but I'm still enjoying it.

"Meanwhile, Final Fantasy X-2 HD was understandably a little less popular, being a sequel. Only 5,357 people bought that game..."

Now who didn't expect that I would like to see SE to sell X & X-2 separately even on PS3 to see how many copies X-2 could sell as a stand-alone game I'm sure if they did that the final sold copies would cause lot's of laughs to FF fans all over the world & lot's of disappointment & skepticism to those who made this trash & I would like to see that that's the only way for them to understand how inferior & tragic was the sequel compare to the original.

Roccetarius1409d ago

I'm pretty sure they knew, that X-2 wouldn't have sold as stand-alone. It was also one of the previous games, which lead to the XIII generation.

FFX though, that was a great game.
