:( I'd love to be able to play this, it looks like so much fun, my only hope is for a PS4 release one day, or perhaps once my laptop is broken, I'll get proper pc, as in not a laptop, I spent £369 for my laptop 3 years ago, I think now I possibly could of got a decent enough PC that would run DayZ
Agreed with the ads. They're horrible. Also, I hope you get to play this at some point. It's wonderful. I was going to use my tax return this year for a computer, but...this new health care.
Still needs work. A lot of work. Played more stable versions of the mod. Make me wonder what they've been doing other than making new pieces of loot and can openers. Needs more zombies in your zombie game.
Its only mindless idiots who believe PC is a dying platform..These are the same morons who claim you have to upgrade hardware every month to play games...They don't understand the logic of having the choice of being able to upgrade hardware when you're ready/want.
how, is there i their even a way to do that on PS4 don't think so. No need to get salty cause some people want it on PS4. But i cant wait till i buy a new computer and then ill be able to play this cause the mod was so much fun.
DayZ is bound to hit consoles once the full product is finished..
DayZ creator Dean "Rocket" Hall has said a console version of the open-world zombie survival game is "almost certain" provided the upcoming stand-alone release of the game on PC isn't a sales disaster.
Good luck waiting on that. The PC version isn't even expected to hit Beta for another year+ Then god knows how long until the full release is finished. Then production will (if at all) begin on consoles.
Get some friends and it can definitely be a good time. It's very much a slow-burn though. Takes a while to get into the game, but, if you stick with it, it can be a very compelling experience. There's a lot of work to do though. It is far from the game the developers, let alone the fans, truly want.
"There's a lot of work to do though. It is far from the game the developers, let alone the fans, truly want." that times 400 really, the game has sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooo many bugs and problems, its a bit of a letdown when you think of how much work still needs to be put into it considering how great of an idea it is and how fun it will be when finished.
I just hope there is ways to report ppl for griefing tho because it will be rampant when it hits mainstream
Odd because you can report or at least could report ppl for being dicks on servers and get them kicked, why would they let a few d!ck heads ruin the game for other ppl ? unless of course you are one of them and thats why you would defend it. I have seen about 30 ppl minimum get banned for griefing.
I'm going to assume you mean on the mod? In that case it would be because its a private server. The public hive has always been the same. You don't get banned for griefing, if you do then that server isn't following the rules.
Also I'd like to point out that guessing I'm a griefer for pointing out that this game is practically built on it is ridiculous, you have no idea how i play this game. I've just been round long enough to know that its part of the experience.
Game is still in alpha and it shows with many bugs cripeling the game. That being said I've put over 125 H into it and I can't stop playing.
Anyone who want the dayz experience on console her's a tip: Get a pc. It won't probably won't be released on console and if it does it will be a cut down version of it and be 3-4 years late.
Popularity skyrocketing
Damn,that's a lot of zombie killing/bandits served

I won't make that mistake again
