VVV: "Gran Turismo developer Polyphony Digital has confirmed the third major update patch for Gran Turismo 6 will be released on January 14th."
cant wait could it come out tonight maybe or anyone know what time tomorrow?
edit-someone on gtplanet said 3 am gmt thats 7pm for me :D
The first update came in the morning for people in NA while the eastern part of the world got it earlier than that. Usually, updates in NA come some time around midnight the night before the release date says.
Kind of related, but can anyone tell me how you activate the clutch pedal on a G25 in GT6 please?
Sorry i can't help you with an answer. However, i was hoping my fanatec csr would work with my 6 speed shifter. I have to use paddle shifters instead as it has an issue getting into 4th gear. All else works perfect though. Just when you go to 4th, it says your in neutral. Takes about 4 attempts and works. But im used to paddle shifters and dont spoil experience. I just use my clutch and 6 speed in forza 4.
In GT5 it used to work if you held triangle button (equivalent of) down at the start of the race. Kind of clunky so maybe they changed it. I haven't actually tried it in GT6
Thanks. I'll give that a go. Is there a knack to the timing? Like hold down the button for a few seconds as soon as the event has loaded? +1 Helpful
Toyota FT-1 - ( http://www.netcarshow.com/t... ). That's one damn fine looking Toyota.
Can anyone tell me how many of the 1,200 vehicles are premium cars are in GT6 please? I have a Forza 5 fanatic trying to tell me GT6 has less premium cars in it than the 200+ in F5, and that GT6 is mostly PS2 quality cars. Please help me shut him up once and for all! ;/ Oh, and looking fwd to the update :)
GT6 has around 400 to 450 premiums, about twice Forza 5's amount. EDIT: This list says 437, not including the Toyota FT-1... http://www.kudosprime.com/g... That would make it 1236 total according to the list when you add the FT-1.
@LarryL, Yewles1 and skate-ak Thanks for helping me out :)
Well there are 124 new premium cars that are in GT6. Plus it has all the premium cars and DLC cars from GT5. So it probably has 300+. Forza might have more in the end when they release all their DLC.
Even as heavy handed with paid DLC Turn10 and MS are, I can't see them releasing 250 new cars to match GT6's roster of full premiums. Well.......I guess they could by just releasing all the cars they removed from F4. Either way.......that would be ALOT of money, even in packs. And @ snookiegamer The 450 number is for the Full on premiums......with modelled interiors. But that number isn't including the couple hundred of the classic GT car models ("standards") that have had their exteriors completely updated to basically the same level of premiums. They were overhauled to now be fully 3D modelled bodies instead of the body modeling just being textures made to look like body lines which they were in GT5. They look just like premiums on the track. off/on topic: I think it's great that these cars are now fully modeled, because that means they can be further updated for PS4 and not look out of place, instead of just losing ALL the classic GT cars which honestly just don't stand up anymore.
Well the update has arrived here and it is crashing my PS3 slim so be warned
Crashing mine as well minutes ago , Get it Right PD!
