The Amazing Spider-Man (PS Vita) Review | Metal Arcade

Metal Arcade: Jason Bakker writes:

As a longtime Spidey fan, I felt that 2012′s The Amazing Spider-Man was a strong movie tie-in and a very solid game. Activision has decided to port the game to PlayStation Vita, way after the film came and went from theaters. This is a bit of a strange move, but the game still holds up well in its transition to the Vita’s small screen. (PS Vita, The Amazing Spider-Man) 7.5/10

Platinumed it last week. At first, the pop-in can mess with you while swinging around, but you get over it. All the major glitches and bugs from the console versions seem to still be there, too. Lol. Still a very fun game, though not my favorite Spider-man game of last gen. That goes to Web of Shadows.

personally 3 gens ago, spiderman 2 on the ps1, they had it with all those costumes <3 each offered you something different not just a skin, thats what disappointed me about recent ones :/

Yeahh I remember that PS1 era :D and those costumes wow T_T
Now everything its DLC and its just a change of outfit or something nothing that special :/

It would be awesome if they did an HD update for SM2 for Vita.

Web of Shadows is cool, I have it for PC but never fully got into it. Played ASM on PS3 as well, really enjoyed this one.

It's a little hard to get into the story, since the story sucks. Lol. I just love the game play. It had the best web slinging mechanics since Spider-man 2. The combo system was brilliant, too. Sure, it had bugs and in-air combat was a bit frustrating...but it was pure fun. I just wish they had added trophies at some point. :/
