Forza Motorsport 5 review | InsideTheBox

Forza 5 should probably be considered as Microsoft’s main first party launch title for the purpose of showing what the console can do. The game runs in 1080p at 60 frames per second, and employs much of the new technology and power available in the Xbox One console to create a very impressive title. (Forza Motorsport 5, Xbox One) 9.5/10

I own this game and think it's not a 9.5. Presentation is great but the music and lack of content holds it back so much.

I appreciate your opinion, and I can see where you are coming from, however, I think it is definitely a very impressive racer and a fantastic launch title, so, I decided to award it that score. After more play, I began to lean towards 9/10, however, I don't change the scores after the initial review goes up. The content is a bit lacking after a lot of play; I agree with you there :)

Personally I think it's a step back for the series! Gt and forza have always had masses of content to keep us amused. This game is far to concerned with raping our wallets with day one dlc car packs and micro transactions!

In terms of the microtransactions, yes, I am not a fan of those at all (and I haven't bought any of them in the course of play), however, as far as racing games go, this is probably the best looking one yet. It might be light on content, but the content that is there is solid and the game performs well overall. Thanks for commenting though, I love hearing other people's opinions :)

Thanks for not being an over protective fanboy my critism is hopefully constructive Hopefully we will see a better overall package for forza 6 following fan requests! Hoping drive club is not light on content now or have micro transactions

So is this more like Forza 5 ( Prologue )?

That's actually a great way of describing it! It is a solid, fantastic looking title, however, it has a shortage of content. Great description :)

Great game just hit driver level 225 some of the record lap times could not be achieved in a chopper really like the single player this time its not as grindy ,It took me years to finish the others so long I would not play online much its the best racing game with a controller I have ever played.

I'm at level 262, but what I noticed is when I go online it shows my level as 14?

After 86 hours of playing, all I can say this game lacks is tracks.
