One gamers written attempt to verbalise the frustration they feel when people look down on games.
Every time you talk about gaming, put in "Working out" and you'll understand my frustration about why so many of my gaming friends are fat and overweight. When people say, "I don't have time for..." what it usually tranlates into is "I don't believe XYZ is important for me to make time." It is not a lack of time, it's the lack of desire or interest to make time.
I agree with your lack of desire or interest to make time. I know we afford time to things that others don't & prioritise to befit our own agendas. I just think games are a harder sell as a pastime than most other mainstream hobbies.
