2013 Game of the Year Awards

Well here it is. The past week and a half has been leading up to this here article. Beginning last week CA! had featured their contributors personal Top 5 lists on the front page and allowed their readers to get inside the heads of the people at CA! and to also possibly discover a new game or two that readers may have missed over the last year. But now it is time to let readers in on the final secrets and to discover which games CA! believe should be recognized as the best that 2013 delivered. Which games should be immortalized and which should be forgotten. 2013 was a pretty great year for gaming and some of the best of the bunch are just below. First, each category below features five games that CA! as a group believe to be some of the best fitting that description. They demonstrate the given awards title and ideas perfectly and deserve to be played by as many gamers as possible. Just because a game is nominated for a category but doesn’t come away victorious does not discount that title from its deserved spot among the other contenders. Each game within a list is damn impressive and deserves to be played by gamers everywhere. Second, there were several games that were among the finalists that, for whatever reason, were changed during final deliberations. (3DS, Dota 2, iPhone, PC, PS Vita, PS3, Rayman Legends, Tearaway, The Last Of Us, Wii U, Xbox 360)
