OnlySP: The next entry in the Castlevania: Lords of Shadow series should satisfy single player gamers looking for an action game with a long main campaign time.
Compare to Zelda(Smosh)
What is your freakin problem?
He is living the life of a troll.. that is his problem.
Glad to see the length of the campaign is substantial. 20 hours is plenty for me.
It's not big at all. But it's a good lenght, no doubt!
It's good for a hack'n'slash game, not for an open world, two different things. Given how epic God of war 3 was, i think it would make the experience less better, if it dragged on for many, many hours.
20 hours is a hell of a long time for an action game like this. With my backlog of games and all the amazing games coming out in the future it's almost too long. But as long as it is all good, just like the first LOS, then I will enjoy every minute of it.
If it's anything like the first one, I would say it could last me 40 hours easy. Not going to lie, I had a hard time finding some of the items and the difficulties settings to get all the trophies.
Great to see an action game have a lengthy campaign. There are far too many of them that are way too short.
I relay don't care if a game is short butawesome, see Vanquish/god of war/zone of the enders/infamous etc. But its also great to see DMC with its 20h campaign and the brutaly awesome Darksiders2 campaign! And yeah LOS1 was pretty cool
Cool. Can we get a real Castlevania next, Konami? Not that there's anything wrong with LOS, I really liked it, but I miss my 2D 'vania.
As if its gone away? Lords of Shadow Mirror of Fate comes to mind.
MoF wasn't exactly a 2D Castlevania. Didn't exactly set the world on fire either.
First Lords Of Shadow is a great game, especially the longevity of singleplayer campaign. Probably this will be my last game on PS3.
Nice, the first also clocked in over 20+ hours too, and had a great pace to boot.
Ya, I think I clocked in around 34 or something hours, not including the dlc.
TBH i felt the first one dragged for a bit too long without adding much story, when it started to get interesting i was tired of the gameplay.
The problem with the first one is, that the tutorial itself wasn't very explicit. You first learned how to use the whip, then you learned about giant boss battles, and then you went to learn magic, and then going back to learn the whip with different combos. They should have explained the basics a lot quicker and let us in with the combos within the first level.
20+ Hours is great! And Feb 25th! There are so many games sneaking up on me in Feb and March I didn't know the release dates of. Saw Thief is hitting the PS4 around that time too. And Infamous, Watchdogs, and hopefully South Park. Man spring is going to be swamped!
meh want another 2d vania maybe on vita.
