Halo: Spartan Assault Review - Pixels for Breakfast

Pixels for Breakfast writes: The game was clearly developed for mobile platforms, and bringing it to consoles really makes you see that. However, the formula works and some genuine fun can be had here. 343 Industries doesn't strive to do something new with the Shoot 'em Up genre, and its limitations aren't well represented here. The $19.95 price tag is also a tough pill to swallow, given the cheaper price of its mobile roots. Skipping on Spartan Evolved won't hurt you, but fans of the series will likely have a decent time here. (Halo: Spartan Assault, Xbox One) 3/5
