Thank you Kickstarter to exist, giving the opportunity to these small businesses to create good headlines, we expect a full 2014.

Damn right. This will be the best year ever for RPGs, and it's not even a contest. Although I'm pretty sure that one between The Witcher 3 and Dragon Age: Inquisition will be delayed eventually, unless TW3 is ready for Q2...

If Kickstarter has taught devolopers one thing, it is that gamers want, REALLY WANT rpgs. And we want them in a plethora of ways: jrpgs, rpgs, srpgs, etc etc...

Or, rather, kickstarter has demonstrated that there's still a huge demand for classic-style CRPGs, especially isometric CRPGs.

Maaan, thats alot... Thx for not making it a 20 page article

Personally, can't stand when it's 'click next' to see each section of a list, so slow, always downloading a new page. Drives me nuts. So... you're welcome. This format limits the information that can be included, but you can still get a good informative list going with some creative efficiency. However, this massive list is still really only half of the actual titles due out this year. It is going to be a crazy, crazy year for the RPG! I hope they all get a chance to shine, honestly. Could backfire as a saturated market this year.

I hate the websites that split 1 or 2 games in these lists for like 20 pages to get more ads.

Wow, I love me some RPG's!!! I can't wait for X and DA:III

But the big surprise for me is Tales of Xillia 2, and you play as Ludger Will Kresnik...KRESNIK!? Interesting???

Yeah I CANNOT wait to play Monolith Soft's Xeno-sequel!!

Some great RPG's across all formats, if they all release 2014 it will be a bumper year for RPG fans (as well as an expensive one). I for one cannot wait.

great article :)
Gonna be a great year for us RPGers for sure!

Indeed, 2013 was the year of the action-adventure titles, but 2014 belongs to the RPG genre.

Definitely looking forward to X!
I'll hopefully be able to play Witcher 3 if I can get a proper PC by then, because it looks interesting.

2014 is looking good for RPG's and I couldn't be happier. ;)

Yeah, that's a lot. I think Persona 5 will likely make this year(whether it'll release out west before 2015 is another story, though).

I'm more of a JRPG fan, and there'll be plenty for me. Plus Dragon Age, if it's as good as it looks.

The Witcher 3 on Steam and X on Wii U ftw. Great list as a whole though. I just may not have time for the others outside of Bravely default since it comes out in February.
krubele14  +   201d ago
