Sony's DualShocker: No rumble action for Euro PS3 owners yet

CVG reports: Sony's PlayStation Day event has come and gone, but there was still no mention of when Euro PS3 gamers will be getting the rumbling DualShock 3. Japan has been rumbling since last year, and the US got its shaking pads on April 15, but Europe is still in the dark.

The best choice for gamers from europe. And with the dollar being low to the euro it's even better.

We still haven't got the dual Shock yet so I got an online import. Saved NZ$30. The DS3 will be selling tomorrow for NZ$109. If I decide to buy another I'll do in online again even if the controller's in store.

Go for it Europeans. Punish Sony for being naughty.

When they announced this controller originally, I read that they would be offering a rebate program for the old controllers they rushed into the market.

Does anyone have the link to the rebate form or the details on the rebate program?

It was pretty terrible of Sony to dump all over its early adopters with these old, now-useless controllers. Games are going to be built that require rumble to properly play, everyone is going to have to pay $60-100 (depending on the region (usa and australia I'm quoting)).

So, how much of a rebate are they giving?

If you are quoting USA then you are wrong because the dualshock 3 costs $55 and in amazon $49 http://www.amazon.com/gp/pr...

"..It was pretty terrible of Sony to dump all over its early adopters with these old, now-useless controllers..."

Only trolls bring up this rubbish.

We knew full well the controller we bought and I'm still using it enjoyably with Warhawk because I'm too lazy to look for my DS3 in my messy as room.

Useless. I think not.

Away with you.

Don't even talk about being rushed to the market, and screwing early adopters, look at the laundry list Microsoft has under their belt.

I imported on just after new year and it was well worth it. A far sight better than the old Sixaxis controllers.
