Why 'PvZ: Garden Warfare' has split-screen on Xbox One but not Xbox 360

XMNR: When Plants Vs Zombie: Garden Warfare releases for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 in February, the next-gen console will have the benefit of local split-screen play while the last-gen will not. PopCap Games explained why in an exclusive interview with Examiner. (Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, Xbox 360, Xbox One)

Indoobidebly.

I'm really happy this is getting split screen coop. XB1, and next gen in general, has been hurting for split screen games. This is great news. Game looks like quirky zany fun.

Is this supposed to convince me to buy an Xbox One?
malokevi  +   267d ago
Is that a joke?

Nobody cares what you do with your money. This game is a timed release anyways. I'm happy for split screen coop... get over yourself. What a sad comment you made.

Fanboys on this site make me sick. Can't so much as speak your mind without provoking some sensitive simp.

I love playin this game on android. Hope this 3d version is as much fun as the android versions. The video which was released earlier seemed like so much fun though.

TL;DR = "Xbox One > Xbox 360."

-----------------------------

Between the $39.99 (Xbox One) and $29.99 (Xbox 360) for PvZ:GW, and the $11.99 pricetag for Peggle2, I am super impressed with PopCap's pricing!!

“That’s the primary reason that it exists on Xbox One only.”

Mmm yea ok in other words MS have paid you a lot of money

Sony gets a game=loyalty
Microsoft gets a game=Moneybag deliver to the front door
Matt666  +   267d ago
I wasn't saying that but from what the article said sounded like other gaming platforms (for example PS4, PC etc) wouldn't be able to handle it hence my comment

I know what you meant homie

Hopefully it sells well. popcap needs the extra sales.

Plants vs zombies is a great game.

Console version Is too expensive though.

This should be no more than $5.

Beta test it for me. I'll enjoy it later.

I hope more next gen games use the extra horsepower to make multiplayer split screen. I hate that when friends come over the only competitive game we can play against people is COD.
