Call of Duty Ghosts - Xbox One Review (Arcade Wednesday)

Call of Duty : Ghosts is a decent entry to the long running franchise. It does feel like more of the same, but the new features should keep your interest till next year's instalment. (Call of Duty: Ghosts, Xbox One) 7.5/10

This game is awesome for a Call of Duty. Issue here is that for me, COD is so incredibly stale that even with all the new mechanics (the lean, the slide etc) even with the dedicated servers, I feel like it's time to leave the series.

You might think COD should stop since innovation or creative ideas nowhere to be found in recent years ( fighting with the dogs really doesn't excite me with all due respect to dogs and their contributions to gaming :) )

It'll stop when it stops selling. I don't see that happening any time soon so get ready to embrace the versions like COD: Ponies or COD black panties

Having seen COD ghosts in 1080p and 720p at the same time side by side on 50" sony bravias, i have to say 1080p makes a huuuuuuuuuge difference when playing MP.

I liked the treyarch's versions better. This one was OK at the most. It's a solid game but things like spawning right in front of the guy that killed me and having him then spawn behind me were annoying. The Maps are much bigger which I can deal with but it seems as though they buffed up all weapon damage because of the increase in size. Story wise it wasn't that interesting and was extremely cookie cutter story wise. I rate this game a bit higher than battlefield 4 because while there both doing basically the same things now a days at least I can save my COD ghosts campaign and it actually has a party system to play with friends.
