Best Game No One Played in 2013

gamrReview's Brent Galietti: "So many games, so little time. That's the quandary many gamers find themselves in. With only 24 hours a day and thousands of games fighting for your attention, it's inevitable that some games will not find their way into the hands of many gamers. For some games, that is a tragedy, as they are great titles that, in our view, deserve to be played by many. In particular, the below games stood out as prime examples of this. If you haven't played them, go play them! If you have, get everyone you know to play them!" (PS Vita, PS3, Puppeteer, Tearaway, The Wonderful 101, Wii U, Ys: Memories of Celceta)

Hyperbole much or you really mean no one played these at all?
Sly-Lupin  +   102d ago
If you can't recognize such obviously hyperbole, or you feel the need to point out the hyperbole to others, I strongly suggest you take a step back from your keyboard, turn off your PC, and wait a few years before coming back to the Internet.

These games don't do 1 million in there 1st week, they take time. Great games all of them. They will sell well especially puppeteer and tearaway when Sony pay developers for ps plus access

I definitely agree with TW101 being on this list.
I don't know why so few people have given this game the chance it needs.

The graphics are gorgeous, the gameplay is challenging, and the issues in control are so minimal that they're easily overcome with practice.

There's also tons of secret members to earn and high scores to beat across varying difficulty modes.

It really deserves more sales than it got, IMO.

There's a difference between buying a game and "giving it a chance."

I have TW101 a chance with the demo. Poorly-explained mechanics, a broken camera, and game-breaking bugs ruined that chance.

This is one of those cases where the demo does not do the full game justice, though.
Especially with the whole "Gamebreaking bugs" statement, since the full game, to my knowledge, has none.

Yeah, I gave up on the demo after having to restart it 3 times. The biggest bugs I encountered were the camera getting stuck pointing away from everything, and the actual units getting stuck in terrain--both of which are fairly common bugs to see in games even late in development.

But, still, it was enough to dissuade me from shelling out $60 for it. I may give it a try after it hits $20, assuming the other, bigger WiiU titles don't have my attention instead.

And while the game-breaking bugs in the demo may not persist in the full release of the game, I've heard that the wonky camera issues still are.

The demo was awful ... doesn't represent the game well at all. I do agree it does a poor job at explaining the mechanics but once you know then and play stages that are not in the demo ... WOW ... Wonderful 101 is AMAZING!!
