Assassin’s Creed V: What Can We Expect?

STFUandPLAY's Tony Polanco writes:

"One of the biggest success stories of the previous generation of video games was Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed franchise. Although some thought that its initial success was due to there being few (then) next gen consoles, it has turned into a venerable cash cow for Ubisoft.

Now that Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag has been released (and on the current gen systems) I wanted to speculate on what’s next for the series and what I hope to see in the next installment." (Assassin's Creed 5, PC, PS4, Xbox One)

Its time for Japanese Empire. The outfits and architecture will b amazing. So much intrigue at that time. It will b inyeresting now that naval has become such a big part of it. I love black flag...but I am curious why it was called 4 and not simply ac:BF.

I honestly dont get why people wonder why it was called ac4 black flag. They could of called it ac4 dog poop scooper it still would of been an awesome game

They said they felt it was different enough from AC III that it need to be called IV it was just called black flag at first but then they decide at the last minute to add the IV.

Ittoryu, in my opinion it was good that they added IV for the Black Flag game because Ubisoft is follwing a logic. Every time the assassin (historical time) changes they give a number to the game

Anything that doesn't have to do with the Americas will do it for me. It has been oversaturated with III, Liberation and IV taking place there.

Assassin's Creed V: Order of Maat/Ma'at
Assassin's Creed V: Osiris

Or just Assassin's Creed V.

Egypt.

What to expect? An announcement by the end of the month, some leaked info in the next few days, you know, stuff like that. Also Black Flag complete edition should be out soon, maybe even including Liberation HD

Regardless of what it's called the next AC will still follow a Kenway either Haytham or Edwards father but it will be a kenway and set close to the time period of AC IV as Ubisoft already said this will be the Kenway story arc. So this next one will be the last kenway saga game but it won't be Japan, Egypt or India.

They should have done something where the assassin is part of the first civilization but they should only do that when ken ways story is over
Liammclean  +   603d ago
It should be during the 1100 in scotland with William Wallace and Robert the Bruce
