Gravity Rush Creator: Preparation for Next Title is “Going Smoothly,” 2014 Dedicated to Production

We already know that a new game from Team Gravity is coming. It was teased during Tokyo Game Show and SCE Worldwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida even mentioned that it’ll be localized, but how is the project going? Gravity Rush‘s Creative Director Keiichiro Toyama answered that question. (Gravity Rush 2, Keiichiro Toyama, PS Vita)

Gravity Rush is probably one of the best games I've played on the Vita. Can't wait for the sequel, maybe it'll be on both Vita and PS4...?
GdaTyler  +   551d ago
I think it's best that Vita keeps its titles exclusive. PS4 has a strong enough line-up.

Just gimme the sequel!

I really enjoyed Gravity Rush. But after GR2, i hope Keiichiro Toyama will touch Siren again. A new Siren for PS4/Vita will be a day 1 to me ^^

Hopefully PS4 is inthe future of the franchise. Can't imagine what team gravity could do with 8GB of Ram.

@hanso, more than half of that list is shovelware/jrpgs that only the small vita fanbase will remember for over a month. Not to mention that a better part of the second half of the list is games that are already out/will have better console ports with less issues than the inevitably inferior vita versions.

@CrossingEden

Not to mention 2 free games each month for plus members. Making it another 28... some good indie titles will be in there as well...plus cross play on PS4.

Secondly at E3 2014, there will no doubt be more games.

Wasn't sure what this game was about and knew absolutely nothing about it at first but gave it a try because it was free with PS+ and it turned out to be one of the best games I've played all year I enjoyed it that much, can't wait for a new one, was left wanting more.

Im excited, Gravity rush had a resolution and framerate issue, and I think they will be making a good effort to avoid such things this time around. Not to say its their fault, notice how almost all the launch titles are lower res and have bad performance? Im betting the Vita got a performance decrease immediately before launch, so the games had to be scaled back.

Gravity Rush is the face of the PS Vita as far as i am concerned.

Tearaway may want to have a word with you.
dcj0524  +   550d ago
Same here.
Setzer007  +   550d ago
tearaway doesn't have a sequel yet. Gravity Rush has a well respected audience, tearaway the same but this came out when the Vita had nothing to show for. Tearaway is just a bonus but then again that is just my opinion. Crash Bandicoot was the face for the playstation when it just came out for a while. The Vita needs a face and i think Kat and Gravity Rush are perfect.

GR is a MASTERPIECE I cannot expect less from the devs.
