Ones To Watch In 2014: Wii U

A smashing set of games.

2014 should hopefully be to the Wii U what 2013 was to the 3DS. Nintendo’s line-up is already looking strong, and it’s likely they’ll announce more titles in the first half of the year during Nintendo Direct broadcasts, just as they did last week.

With Super Mario 3D World and The Wind Waker HD under their belts, they’ve shown how to make high quality games for the system, so here’s hoping next year will be even better and they’ll turn the dwindling sales around. (Bayonetta 2, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, Hyrule Warriors, Mario Kart 8, Super Smash Bros., Wii U, X)

Great line up for next year! I can not wait! X, Bayonetta 2, Smash Bros, Mario Kart, Zelda, Donkey Kong, those are just six games exclusive for the Wii U next year. There are allot of games keeping me busy already, and PS4 is going to have an AMAZING year too. 2014 is the year to be a gamer that is for sure.

Bayonetta 2 is one of my most anticipated titles.
I was thoroughly convinced that I'd never see a sequel to the first one, which I still own on my PS3, after I saw that it only got a total of around 2M sales across two different consoles.

Therefore, as a fan of it, seeing the sequel actually happen makes me smile pretty widely.
