Windows XP SP3 hits Windows Update, Vista SP1 makes a comeback

Engadget reports:

installing at the moment
(i used the "help and support" link in the startmenu btw)

Vista has no 'fancy' security features. User Account Control isn't 'fancy.' Required Digital Signatures on Vista 64 isn't 'fancy.' Having Windows Defender free, but having to buy our own anti-virus isn't 'fancy.'

they must not have the 64 bit version done yet because i still don't see it on windows update.

It's based too much on Windows Server 2003, SP2 for XP x64 Edition isn't the same as the normal XP SP2, if I've understood things correctly.
