Todd Slepian:
"Once again, it's Todd Slepian the Atari North American Producer for Alone in the Dark, with the third installment of my Alone in the Dark Blog. When I last posted I talked about the Episodic Structure of the game and the DVD-Style Chapter Select. This time I would like talk about the technology used to create Alone in the Dark for the XBox 360.
The main tool used to create Alone in the Dark is Eden Games' own proprietary tool known as "Twilight 2." They have been working on this technology for years and it's very powerful and above all flexible – it's actually an updated version of the same technology used to build Test Drive Unlimited (a very different kind of game), which just goes to show you its versatility."
