A new story circulating the Internet claims that a 10-year-old boy in Tallahassee, Florida, committed a slew of crimes "just minutes" after playing GTA IV.
they are looking for anything on gta 4, this is crazy
Even if this was fake, it's sad that no one blames people for being bad parents anymore.
Maybe the game froze up? I almost committed crimes when I came home with a copy of GTAIV only to remember my PS3 needs to be sent in for repair. I better get it back by next Thursday. :(
aevery time a gta comes out this always happens, more false story while some are true, i cant blive this until its officaly true and not a rumor, ...any way i dont give a f.... GTA4 kicks any games ass write now =D
The game has an M rating for a reason. Anyone under 17 playing this game is part of the problem
He thought it was OK because he could do it in a videogame? I haven't watched an episode of Jerry Springer in over a decade, but I take it you can still marry your sister in Tallahassee?
This just goes to show how desperate anti-video game groups are becoming. Nothing truly awful happened with the release of the game, so they just make something up to scare people? Like there isn't enough bad news to report on right now, let's just start creating fictional bad news. Disgraceful. Another couple points from the article I have a problem with (if it were or is, in fact true): 1 A ten year should not be playing this game - where are his parents? 2 Why is there a loaded weapon in the house that this child could just go inside and grab? 3 In any incident of this severity (attempted GTA (ironic), shooting at police officers, a mugging, and a armed robbery of a restaurant) the child would not simply be handed back to the parents for later counseling, regardless of age. Child protective services would be all over the parents on this issue. This report is so full of holes, it is ridiculous.
Oh common! Wtf? A 10yr old hot-wiring a car? Why is the 10yr old able access his father's gun so easily? How did this 10yr old get GTA in the first place? Why was the child handed back for counselling? Shouldn't they take him to juvy or something?
GOD-DAMMNIT! this makes me so mad. pathetic really there just TRYING to make crap like this up because they know its not how the world works. hell i remember people getting mugged and stabbed for a new mobile phone, has nothing to do with the item if its sought after enough
fake or real seems like ratings mean jack sh#@ to anybody anymore. if some parent bought alcohol for a minor everyone gets a fit and blames the parents for serving alcohol to a minor. But when a parent purchases a video game for a minor that clearly states that you must be a certain age and meet a certain requirement to play that particulur game no one seems to want to blame the parents but only the video game itself.
They wouldnt have posted the kids real name since he is a minor if this was true. The loser who made up this needs a life,or to get laid.
I believe this really did happen. When he found-out his mommy bought him the PS3rd version on accident...
Lol, oh don't mind me, I'm just laughing at the fact you have 1 bubble left, so what is that your 9th account or so that's already down to one bubble?
im pretty sure that u wont even be able to play the game and commit those crimes within "just minutes" of playing the game
What can you do within' minutes? Hm... Crack a cop in the face a couple times and get shot, strange that this little shіt head wasn't erased from our existence otherwise, this is Grade-A material for Fox News.
