Impressions: Starbound | oprainfall

oprainfall's Tyler Lubben writes:

"It was a harrowing wait. First, it was a Summer 2013 release, then that faded off into Fall 2013. By December, I didn’t think we’d be seeing a 2013 release at all. Just as hope faded, though, news of an open beta on December 4 broke, and I jumped at the chance to finally try the game out for myself. What follows is a brief account of my first few days with the game, and my thoughts on whether it lives up to the hype." (PC, Starbound)
