Atlus just released a new patch of the PS3/PS Vita side scrolling JRPG Dragon’s Crown, bringing quite a few interesting new elements to the game.
Wow thats awesome, most developers would release it as DLC, thank god there are still developers like this.
Gearbox would happily charge you for this, and then say it's optional. After a few days of internet comments, people are called entitled and whiny.
Soul Sacrifice was absurdly generous with the post-launch DLC too. I still haven't gone through all of it.
"On a save game with a cleared game it’s possible to skip the initial phase of the story with new characters and start with the search for the talismans." They really should have had that at the start, but glad to see some people won't have to grind story endings like I did.
This is the game of the year for me. BAR NONE.
Cmon DHL, get your shizzz together and deliver the game already. This is absolutely amazing, most devs would charge for that, Vanillaware deserves studio of the year award, not nuaghty dog
BRAVO. Well done Vanillaware I thank you.
LEVEL 255?! Im only at level 17! Boy, this game will last me a while =P Dragon's Crown is a pretty fun game Just bash the shit out of everything you see So satisfying
You definitely get your money's worth from this game. I've probably poured more time into Dragon's Crown than any other game this year.
Same here. The game is wicked on Vita; loading up bags upon bags of equip plus portability and suspending the game equals single runs that last a few days. The game does slow down a little with four player online, (rarely happens with four player offline) but I still think it's an excellent experience.
Wow that's awesome *looking at the pict* the new difficulty and level cap i mean :P Glad that Atlus / Vanillaware still supported this game. Maybe i can hope that someday they will give new class and side quest too.
Possible, of course, but I'll bet that a sequel is either in the works, or will be soon, for sure. That's a good thing!
I forgot that Dragon's Crown is the most successfull Vanillaware title to date. Just like you said, maybe they already working on the sequel. New story, more class, more replay value. Oh man, i'm drolling right now! XD
Don't worry, The Japanese paid for your part of the DLC considering they had to pay over $70 for theirs...
255!!! I need to level up my Amazon.
Only clicked the news because of giant boobs of this girl ^^
you are missing a great game then :)
OoooOOOOOoOooOOOOOH My sorceress will level up to that point, for sure! Awwww yeah!
I hate trophy hunting, but I got this game platinum and I stil play it.
When a game as hardcore as Drangon's Crown comes along, trophies don't matter as much. Gateway MT6706 2008
"It’s worth mentioning that for the moment the patch has been released only in Japan, but Atlus USA is normally quite quick at localizing them." Lol I wish I read that part before giddily grabbing my Vita. A comment from DualShockers: "The patch is actually up for US version now." If true then how do I access it?
My wizard is only lvl 78. Looks like I need to flash freeze some more welps. Gateway MT6706 2008
And all of this from a free patch... I'm humbled, Vanillaware. You are a credit to Game Developers.
