PS4: 7 Simple Changes That Would Have Improved Its Launch

Finally, the Holidays are upon us and so is the future of PlayStation. Last month, Sony launched their PlayStation 4 console to help gamers celebrate this time of the year, and with it comes a brand new architecture that revolutionizes graphics, social connectivity and interactivity with other devices just to name a few. (PS4)

You can't improve on 'selling out'.

"While its still nice to know that the PS4 provides more options for entertainment, it no longer feels like a device that caters to its core audience; gamers"
Wow, just wow... I... I just don't...
Not only the first "reason" is stupid, the second reason is "add more features soon"
I was going to go one by one, but the reasons are just idiotic, like complaining that there are faulty consoles or MP3 and DLNA stuff that Sony already said they will bring back

Just going to get the stupidity out of the way first. What the hell is this "While its still nice to know that the PS4 provides more options for entertainment, it no longer feels like a device that caters to its core audience; gamers. Sony needs to focus more on providing for gamers by rolling back on the many entertainment options". It is like he has been living under a rock since February. Also no more bricks as number one. What is this?

Anyway back to sanity I agree with some of the list as there are something that shouldn't be missing. It is just a shame you had to put in the crazy stuff in (like the stuff I just mentioned) . Remember "never go full retard"

Horrible article from a horrible site.

Since when free psn and backwards compatibility are "simple changes"?

WTF. No.

Terrible self-contradictory article.

I will say PS4 could've done with more games and less delays at launch. But if you're smart you already know that the quality of a product launch doesn't represent the trajectory over its lifecycle.

Most likely they will bring MP3 capability back; however, unless the Blu-ray player that is in the PS4 has the correct wavelength laser in it they will never be able to play CD's directly.

As far as the other complaints go, good luck with that. There is more chance of me getting a sunburn in Canada right now :)

I think they mis-titled the article....I think this was supposed to be xbox launch....easy fanboys its a joke....Sony has been nothing but for the gamers, and the launch has been huge and wildly successful, so we're going to improve on that? Article is full of fail

Terrible article and I still don't understand why someone would want to play a CD through it. Yes PlayStation had it but that was also some peoples first none portable CD player.

My complaint is give the option to turn off the light on controller. Turn off rumble check. Lower speaker volume check. Turn off virtually pointless glowing light on controller.... Negative.
