Sophie Halliday writes: When I sat down to play UFO Dad for the first time, I was initially sceptical about how much enjoyment I was going to get out of another match-three puzzle game. Let’s be honest, from Bejeweled to Candy Crush Saga and everything in-between, the genre has been so inundated with similar titles it has become ever-more challenging to pick out the gems from the boring clones.
While UFO Dad adds some unique and inventive new elements to Candy Crush Saga-style connect-3 games, it still gets rather samey after a while.

"With the enormous popularity of ‘match three’ games, there’s a wide selection to choose from when wanting to delve into this genre. Each with their specific themes and twists, there’s definitely one that will be to your liking. Amongst these kind of games comes UFO Dad that adds a platformer twist, burgers, a modern family, and aliens. When I first saw UFO Dad, a game that I honestly didn’t expect to get too much out of it, although this definitely changed the more I played it and strived toward obtaining a better score. So, does UFO Dad go above and beyond and surprise me even more? Let’s take a look."
This looked pretty interesting, especially for the PS Mobile market. The games on there can be incredibly cheap-looking, and even when you look at the better ones, their prices are all over the place.
