Bioshock: Infinite "important"

I think it is important to the industry. The game play might not be the best and you might not have even liked the story, but I think the general consensus is that it put together a lot of good story elements. Both Bioshock Infinite and The Last of Us showed me that videogames are capable of telling truly touching stories, with good characterization, and convey complicated themes. You may not consider it good, but Infinite definitely has some elements that years from now will be considered influential, thus justifying importance.
