During the Letter from the Producer Live XI Broadcast aired today, Director and Producer Naoki Yoshida and Community Manager Toshio Murouchi showcased a whopping 21 minutes of live gameplay of the PS4 version of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn both on Sony’s new console and on the PS Vita via remote play.
Today, during a pane at PAX East, Square Enix announced the release date of the next expansion Dawntrail, on top of the editions and more.
The MMORPG will arrive on Xbox consoles on 21st March following its open beta, with Square Enix releasing further details on the launch in a new Lodestone blog post.
Not only is Game Pass required to play the game in full, but FFXIV Coins will be required to make purchases - a new currency not used on PC or PlayStation.
What's even the point if they're doing everything possible to convince people NOT to play?
Bad idea. Kind of at the point its almost like a repeat of FFXI on the 360 with it requiring Gold to play.
Greed greed nothing but greed. Anyone who willingly plays 14 on Xbox is a bona fide sucker.

Good good!.. Remote play feature for this game is a good idea.
Looks great, probably better than on my PC. If you can use mouse and keyboard, I see no reason for myself and anyone with mid range PCs to play this on PC vs PS4 now.
looks pretty good, HOWEVER no way in heaven nor hell am i paying for the game plus 15$ a month fee to play
That's that titan battle. Lots of fun. Hard mode titan however.....
