Fumito Ueda really can’t talk about The Last Guardian. It’s in his contract. The designer left SCE’s Japan Studio back in December 2011, but returned as a freelancer to see his game to its conclusion. Still, his creative work on the project is now mostly complete – interpret that as you will – so the Ico and Shadow Of The Colossus designer is able to find time to give us a rare interview about the mechanics of emotional interaction and the shape of SOTC’s map.
Zachary M. Cain said: Shadow of the Colossus is hailed as one of the best action-adventure titles of its time. The game was originally released for the PlayStation 2 all the way back in 2005. It was so good in fact, it got a remastered version in 2018 for the PlayStation 4 and was well received by old and new fans alike. Let’s revisit this iconic classic in 2024 and see how well it holds up to its past reputation.
Daman Shelley from NoobFeed writes - Dragon's Dogma is truly a one-of-a-kind game, and there really is no other game like it, but there are a few that come close. Whether with their fantasy settings, the ability to climb mountains, or just with the overall same charm as Capcom’s iconic RPG. Here's a list of games that will hopefully scratch that Dragon's Dogma itch.
I can still hear the title screen music in my head after nearly 12 years. Loved every minute of it.
I have no issues filling my time til DD2.
Granblue Fantasy: Relink, Infinite Wealth and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will probably me more than enough.
More terrified I won't be done in time.
Try not to burn yourself out before the game releases. This is going to be a long and immersive RPG like the first one.
The games in this article are all great and I believe the people who are excited for Dragons Dogma 2 probably already played most of those games.
For now, I recommend you prepare yourself for long play sessions if you will be picking up Dragons Dogma at launch.
GB: "With this feature, we run down 15 of the most underrated games on the PS4 that never received the love and appreciation they truly deserve."
I've played 15, and I wouldn't consider any of those underrated TBH. Some of them are pretty high rated.
I. Not seeing anything on that list underrated. I never played concrete genie, the ASTRO vr,and one other but I forgot the name already. Nothing on there was underrated at all imo.
There’s only 4 of those games I never played, and no most of those aren’t underrated.
The ICO-franchise is the most 'unice'-one i've played so far
To be honest at this point of development on the last guardian, I can care less if he left or not. He hasn't done shit for a whole generation
Bon voyage!
Love Ueda, but he left to make mobile games. How does the most creative person in the gaming industry take that path? Now I know how people felt when Picasso started painting the weird stuff.
If you want to loose lots of money while employing a genius, Fumito Ueda is your man.
