It's fun but I don't like going below 2:1 on KDR. And when I did Knife Only I can almost never get 2:1.

When it comes to going knife only, I think that expecting to see your KD ratio drop until you become exceptional at it, is sort of a prerequisite.
And even then, no matter how good you are, you're going to have bad matches, days where you just can't catch a break against others, whether it's because they're using the same perks and you can't quite catch up, or whether they're about to round a corner and there's a bunch of guys right behind them looking right at you, because the enemies play too smart and stick together in large groups, camping long hallways that you simply can't sneak up on.

To be a good knifer, you can't be someone who cares too much about their K/D ratio.
Otherwise, you'll just be stressing yourself out more than you should be over a game, and it would be best to stick to guns in that instance.

Oh, and for knifers, I think it should be a rule that they shouldn't be afraid to temporarily switch to a "bomber" build full of explosive weapons in order to flush a bunch of cheap campers out of a room that the knifer's can't otherwise reach without being gunned down.

Silver lining, do knifing right, and you'll become every sniper's greatest fear.XD

Few people, in my experience, rage harder than a sniper on a kill streak who keeps getting steel implanted in his spine.XD

It was more balanced with the commando perk in MW2. They need to bring that back so that the multiplayer invites more styles of gameplay. Everyone just uses an assault rifle. All I do is snipe though.
